Measles Awareness

Measles cases are on the rise in the Black Country and the West Midlands.

Healthy Sandwell have created a poster to help keep you safe and identify the symptoms of Measles.

This is what you should look for:

Symptoms start with a fever, red eyes, cough and runny nose. Around 3 days later a red rash will start on the face and spreads down the body. Young Children are more vulnerable and may need to go to hospital.

If you think you or a member of your family has measles, contact your GP straight away or call 111.

To receive the vaccination for MMR, contact your GP.
